Interviewees:

Kathy Rappel is a specialist Music teacher across all year levels of schooling and is currently teaching at an independent boys’ school in Brisbane. She has the privilege to lead the Prep to Year 3 Music Every Day Program which celebrated its 10 year anniversary in 2023. Kathy Rappel is passionate in sharing and gaining knowledge and perspectives to enhance her impact as an educator.

Melissa Black is a passionate Kodaly Music Educator, specialising in Primary Music Education. Her experience covers Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary contexts across Public and Private sectors in New South Wales and Queensland. Melissa is proud to hold degrees in Music Education (Sydney Conservatorium of Music) and in Primary Teaching (Australian Catholic University), alongside the Australian Kodaly Certificate. She can be found at the Anglican Church Grammar School in Brisbane as Head of Preparatory School Music.
