Description

Each of five questions consists of two bars of staff notation in the alto clef. Five notes, d rm sl (CDE GA) are used in the melody. d is on the third line, C. The teacher sings or plays one of the bars and the students circle the one they hear. This links the sounds to the symbols helping tie together aural and notation knowledge. As a bonus, the worksheet will be easy to mark and could be a useful addition to your assessment.
