These colourful and easy to read rhythm cards are a wonderful addition to any music room! The simple format allows students to quickly see the number of sounds and beats each rhythm is worth (in 4/4 time) and the stick notation is a bonus as it helps students to identify rhythms they are familiar with. This resource is an effective assistive tool for differentiation and promotes the development of music literacy (rhythm names) and numeracy skills (counting of beats).

PDF Rhythm Font Guide
Please note that Chris used a free music notation font which is listed at the top on the ‘Rhythm Font Guide’. You will need to download this font for you to be able to view it. Otherwise you could make your own cards using the music font you already have. If you do use the font listed, please feel free to use the guide to help you identify keystrokes that relate to the music font.
