This is a repeat workshop from the Maryborough Music Conference.

Session 1 – Composing
Composing is an essential part of the curriculum. Students need to be guided and skills built. Join Deb and Debbie as they share some of their composing ideas and the scaffolding and pedagogy they use to help students successfully create music. Activity and assessment ideas for each year level from Prep to Six.

Session 2 – Performing
How do we scaffold the learning and sequence the assessment for successful performing activities in the primary school music classroom? Join Deb and Debbie as they share some of their performing ideas and the scaffolding and pedagogy they use to help students improve their musicianship and performance. Activity and assessment ideas for each year level from Prep to Six.

Session 3 – Responding
What does responding to music look like in the music classroom? How can we build meaningful responding activities into our already jam packed music lessons? Join Deb and Debbie as they share some of the responding components of their music lessons. Activity and assessment ideas for each year level from Prep to Six.
